Movie Nights @ Java House Coffee

October Movie Nights @ Java House Coffee

Wow!!  What fun we had watching C.S. Lewis' Part 1, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Part 2 The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.  It was better than being at the movies because we watched OUTSIDE under the gorgeous stars.  Hot dogs, popcorn, candy and of course, gourmet COFFEE was in abundance.

If you didn't make it, you missed a great, fun, family time.  We hope to do more in the very near future, so try to come and bring your family!  We love you......God Bless you all!   Oh BTW, Take a look at our pictures.

Fundraising Letter

Dear Friends of Jehovah Java,

I hope this letter finds you well and blessed of the Lord. I am writing to all of you who were blessed by Jehovah Java when we were in downtown Woodstock, Georgia. So many lives were changed during those years. Many young people found Christ and others furthered their walk with Him in the exciting and safe environment of Jehovah Java.

You will be happy to know we are reopening the wonderful coffee house ministry of Jehovah Java under the new name of Java House Coffee!

We are conveniently located at the corner of Kellogg Creek and Victory Drive in Acworth, just five miles west of our former Olde Towne Woodstock location. Java House Coffee is a beautiful facility designed by award winning theme designer Matt McCoy, who has also produced theme works for Six Flags Over Georgia and Disney. We met Matt at the old Jehovah Java. He is a strong Christian who filled the coffee shop with Christian symbols and beautiful design elements. We have a spacious patio for those cool Georgia nights and an inside fireplace for the cold ones. We even have a drive thru! In addition to the beautiful facility, God has blessed us with almost all of the equipment we need to make amazing drinks, pastries and sandwiches, including our signature chicken salad!

Java House Coffee also has a new member of our management team. Her name is Michelle Catalano. She has moved here from Dallas, Texas with her husband Joe and their new son, Joey. The Lord led them to move here specifically to work with us at Java House. Michelle is an experienced manager, having helped several   businesses get off the ground and running. She also has a degree in accounting and experience with human resources and corporate restructuring.  She is back in Georgia to help make Java House Coffee a success!

Needless to say, God has positioned us to bless our community again!

Our vision is five-fold
·    Provide a coffee house environment for our community in which to minister Jesus Christ.
·    Provide a work environment for young people that:
o  Equips them for future jobs by learning to be a faithful, confident and excellent employee.
o  Teaches them to confidently share the gospel in their future job environment.
o  Inspires them to possibly start their own business in the future.
·    Provide excellent food service and an inviting atmosphere for our customers.
  • Provide support for community and world missions through donations.
  • Provide a venue for Christian artists and local developing talent.
We already have so much!
·    We have a beautiful facility!
·    We have 95% of the equipment we need to operate a full service espresso bar and kitchen!
·    We have a complete management staff!

The few items needed include:

Operating expenses for three months                                   $48,000.00
(Based on full day operating hours at $16,000.00 per month)
Startup inventory                                                                    $  4,500.00
Miscellaneous equipment including:
Drive thru equipment                                                             $  3,000.00
Additional patio furniture                                                      $  1,200.00
Menu boards                                                                           $     600.00
Blender                                                                                    $     500.00
Signage                                                                                     $  1,500.00
Advertising                                                                               $  3,000.00
Retail inventory                                                                       $     300.00

The cost of opening a new comparable full time coffee shop would be several thousand dollars more.  You can see that our final needs are small in comparison.

We want to open soon!

In an effort to open Java House Coffee, we are asking friends of this ministry to help us out.
You may be someone who can give a big amount or you may be able to give the price of a cup of coffee. Whatever the amount, 100% of your gift will go towards the opening of this wonderful ministry. Since Java House Coffee is an outreach of Dayspring Church, your gifts are tax deductible.

Here are a few ways you can give:
·    A one time gift of any amount
·    A monthly gift
·    A donation of supplies
·    Pay for one of the items listed above

Thank you so much for considering making a donation to Java House Coffee. Your help will play such a big part in our effort.
